Science A-Z Discovery Museum
TL;DR?
My Role: Art Director/Designer
Client: Learning A-Z
My scope of work: Downloadable guides and resources, emails, social ads
I worked with the e-commerce team to design a series of resources and planning tools for teachers that incorporated STEM teaching concepts and built upon concepts within our product, Science A-Z. I worked closely with the agency and team lead to provide art direction for the interactive platform. My design team also worked on all promotional pieces.
In early 2020, I collaborated with the digital marketing team on a thrilling project called the Science A-Z Discovery Museum. The eCommerce Director partnered with Moncur, our agency collaborator, to develop the concept. During the initial concept meetings, I contributed to the art direction.
The project aimed to create an engaging and interactive platform for the Science A-Z product. It allowed prospects and customers to explore a virtual science museum and venture into areas such as the Hall of Earth & Space and Hall of Paleontology. Each museum wing offered visitors an opportunity to download a sampling of Science A-Z resources, including helpful guides and motivational posters.
Guides
My design team worked on a series of guides using a mixture of stock photography and visuals that played off of the illustrative style of the interactive museum, including titles: What Would Indiana Jones Do?, The Solutions to Your Biggest Problems Teaching Science, and Your Complete Guide to Classroom Pets.
Promotional Ads & Emails
I also designed a series of promotional emails, google display ads, and social media ads highlighting the features of the interactive museum. Additionally, I provided art direction to the multimedia team on an Instagram filter “Which Scientist & Inventor Are You?”
